And the One Week Check-Ups Begin

Today was my last two week check-up. From now on I will be going to the doctor every week. Everything looked good today. I am even 1 centimeter dialated. I am still feeling good, and Lincoln is continuing to grow. I am growing more and more anxious to meet this little man. (Hopefully he won't come before I complete my lesson plans though. : ) I have totally completed my plans for pre-k. Now I just have to work on the first grade plans.)

I am afraid that I am driving my husband crazy with the "nesting syndrome." Pray that Keith can last another month with a crazed wife. At least I'm being productive. Lincoln's room is pretty much finished. ( I will have to post a picture.) I will hopefully finish tearing down the wallpaper in the guest bedroom this week.

To Prepare or to Scare?

Keith and I attended the childbirth preparation class a few weeks ago. The class met one day from 9-3, and I am still not sure if the purpose of the class was to prepare or scare us. Most of the information was informative. I definitely could have done without the video! I've seen a few videos of the birthing process, but this one beats them all. It was the most graphic think I have ever seen. (I think they should show it to high school girls-surely it would knock some sense into a few of them!!) We both walked away from the class feeling a bit overwhelmed. It was a lot to process in just a few hours.
