Time Alone
Keith is at lunch with his friends from work. Lincoln is down for a nap. Max (our dog) is asleep. The house is quiet. There isn't any crying (from the baby or the dog). There isn't any noise from the tv. It is wonderful! I got to eat a leisurely lunch while looking at a magazine. I'm sure I should be doing something productive, but I just can't help but enjoy this time.
As for Keith, he is alright. The chemo pills cause him to get blisters and a rash. Both of these things seem to come and go. Both are back. The blisters are on his feet, which is pretty uncomfortable. The rash tends to be on his arms, legs, and chest. This time it is on his face as well. This boy is a trooper! Overall, he is doing well. These side effects are nothing compared to some that he has experienced. His spirits still seem good.
Lincoln has some exciting news to share. He is almost sleeping through the night. He still wakes up at least once. Usually all I have to do is put his pacifier and pat him for a minute or two and he goes right back to sleep. I have to admit that getting several hours of sleep in a row is a great thing! (I know all the Baby Wise fans out there won't be impressed. He is three months old after all, but I am a Baby Wise flunky.)

Keith and Steph, I want to make sure you know that Carolyn and I read your blog regularly (I check it every day through BlogLines). We pray for you, and I'm very glad to hear Lincoln is sleeping so well! What a blessing.
