We had a little scare last night. Keith started running a low grade fever. The doctor told us that anytime Keith has a fever, he needs to call and get some antibiotics immediately. Due to the fact that Keith's immune system is so weak, they have to treat him as if he has an infection. Of course, all of this happened at night. Keith had to call the answering service, and they paged the doctor who was on call. Luckily one of the pharmacies in town was still open.

Keith just took his temperature today, and he no longer has a fever. I'm sure he will call his oncologist today to check in with them. I think he was scared more than anything. The doctor that he spoke to last night said that he would need to go to the ER if the fever didn't go down. Those aren't exactly encouraging words to hear at 9 o'clock at night.

God took care of us once again! It's funny how He works. Last night Keith invited a few guys over for a movie night, so we didn't have to call anyone for help. Help was sitting in our very house! Thanks guys for all that you did! Thank you God for once again showing us Your presence!
