The hospice nurse came today, and she said she doesn't expect Keith to live through the weekend. Keith's parents and I are starting to make some memorial/ funeral plans. We would like some stories to share about Keith. If you have a story that you think would be appropriate to share in our celebration of Keith's life, please e-mail me at ksmccord@geusnet.com.

stephanie,
we're praying for you each so fervently these days. and i had to share with you one of the most precious things that i've seen here in Cochabamba in awhile. we have a lady that comes and helps me around the house a few days a week who is a christian. she and i were sitting down for lunch i think it was monday as nathan was taking his nap and she prayed over our lunch. but before starting i told her about you and keith and lincoln. that i had never had the chance to meet you but that i had been praying for you all and could she pray for you too. and in the most precious spirit she prayed in spanish so fervently over you each. i was preciously reminded that our God hears all prayers, for all His children, no matter from where, or in what language they are spoken. Know that they are being spoken here on your behalf daily. God bless you.

I looked you guys up in my Harding yearbook after seeing the post on the alumni digest. I know our paths crossed some. I've been praying for your family so much lately and will continue to do so. God is close to the brokenhearted. Your lives are an inspiration. Thanks for sharing yourself so honestly with us.

Y'all have definetely been in my thoughts and prayers. The more I think about Keith going, the stronger I'm hit with thankfulness that we are saved by grace through Jesus. You talked about Keith's dream about whether his faith has been strong enough. It made me think of Psalm 22, the psalm Jesus invoked the first line of while on the cross. I love the way it ends, showing what it is we trust in: "...for HE has done it."

Stephanie,
I graduated with Keith from Columbia Academy. I have so many great memories of Keith from mission trips to the Bahamas to playing football together. I am currently serving as the Campus minister at Columbia Academy, and I want you to know that you and Keith are in our thoughts and prayers. May God wrap His arms around you and give you His strength, comfort, and might as you deal with the struggle of letting Keith go to his reward. May God bless in all things. Having never met you we still love you.
