Keith did better yesterday. He was more alert and talkative. His family arrived yesterday, so I'm sure that played a role in how he felt. He even told everyone at one point to leave him alone.
Mom and I went shopping for a little while yesterday. I needed a dress for the funeral. It wasn't the most enjoyable shopping trip, but it was good to get out of the house for a while. I ask that you pray that God will grant me the strength to endure. I am so tired. It has been a long 6 months.

Sweetie, I don't even know what to say. I'm so heartbroken for you. The Lord has told me over and over again how pleased he is with you because you have been so FAITHFUL throughout this whole deal. He loves you so much. I am sending you a big hug. Kevin's whole family is here and we are praying for you and Keith and Lincoln fervently. I love you.

Stephanie,
I have posted many comments but I dont think we have ever met. Keith and I were never "best buddies" but he always had something good to say and from what i remember he loved Spring Sing. I was in a mountain climbing accident my sophmore yr at HU, and fell about 85ft. (which is part of my memory issues) I cheated death and I have always thought that if I can get thru my paralysis and learn to walk again after they said i wouldnt... that anyone could overcome their hurdles. Keith is an amazing example of how precious life is. I cant imagine what you guys are going thru... words cant comfort the pain I know you feel for yourself and for Lincoln. I just recently found out we are expecting our 1st child after not knowing if i would able to bear children from my accident. I have struggled for 10 yrs as to why my accident happened. I was mad at God for letting it happen... and not healing me 100%. It took me a few years to realize that I am only here b/c of God. I'm sure that you have alot of the same questions. And it might be sometime before you get answers. But thru all the turmoil.. will come answers... and Keith will live on thru Lincoln.
Stephanie - we are still praying for all of you. I truly admire your strength. Thank you for taking the time to update the blog on Keith's condition. I know your time with Keith right now is very precious so please don't worry if you may miss a day or two on the postings. I don't think anyone would mind.
May God give you comfort during this time. Know that people all over the world are praying for you!
Stephanie,
I've been following your blog through the last six months. We've not met, but my husband and I knew Keith at Harding. He and Richard were in Chi Sigs together. We've been amazed and encouraged by your strength and have been crying and praying with you. We are praying for continued strength and courage and peace for you and Keith.

I have no words that can convey my heart to your heart, but I do have two verses that have brought me comfort over and over.
"I lift up my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip - He who who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep..." Psalm 121
"I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live." - Psalm 116:1-2
May God shower his mercy and love over your every moment and give you rest for your souls. I love you three and am praying.
Jenny
Stephanie,
I have only recently found your blog and caught up on what your life has been like these past 6 months. I was a friend of Keith's at Harding. Keith was such a beam of light and energy. I always loved running into him on campus. I am so sorry for the pain he is in and the heartache you and your family are experiencing. Please know you and Keith are in my prayers. May God give you peace and comfort.

You have been in our thoughts and prayers. We are amazed like others by the strength that you have shown over the past 6 months. May God give you peace and rest during this difficult time. We love you.

Stephanie - my husband Steve and I are friends of your parents from GWRRA Chapter N2. We have been reading you blog since Lincoln was born. We have been keeping up with you, Keith and Lincoln through the blog and your parents. You amaze me - You and Keith have sure had a tough battle for the last 6 months but your faith in God is stronger than ever. You are an inspiration to all. I have been debating as to if I should send a message but at this time I feel a need to let you know that Steve and I keep your family -close and far - in our prayers and hearts.
Stephanie,
I knew Keith at Harding too. You, Keith, and Lincoln are all in my and my families prayers. Your grace and strength are an inspiration.

Stephanie,
I am not sure if you remember me, but I went to the Kingwood Church of Christ during our growing up years. We might have even been in the youth group at the same time together. My parents are Don and Barbara Looney.
I've been keeping up with your blog when there is a new post on Harding Alumni Digest.
My husband and I both knew Keith while we were at Harding. You have weighed heavily on my mind lately as I have tried to imagine what you are both going through. My prayers and thoughts are with you, Keith and Lincoln at this very difficult time. We are praying for all of you daily.

Stephanie, along with our church, we are continuing to pray for your strength.
