We've had quite a day. Keith's doctor wanted to see him for a follow up visit. This was the first time for us to use the wheelchair. Everything went well until it was time to fold up the wheelchair and get it back into the trunk. We couldn't figure out how to fold it up. I ended up going back into the hospital and asking for help.
Keith's hospice nurse came today. We will have the same person during business hours. If we need a nurse at night or on the weekends, we will get whoever is on call. She seems very nice.
I found out today that my thyroid level is high. I had an ultrasound done today, and I have an appointment with a specialist in Dec. The worst case scenario is that I may have to have surgery. Please pray that surgery is not necessary. As you can well imagine, this is the last thing that we need right now!!!

Stephanie,
Your strength is amazing. Thank you for posting and keeping us up on what is going on. We are praying for Keith, Lincoln and you, that God will wrap his arms around you and protect you.

I love you friend and am sending lots of hugs your way!! I hope this week holds lots of great memories for you three! I am thankful for your friendship and pray that God will lead you from strength to strength.
Stephanie,
Words cannot express... You and Keith are on the hearts and minds of so many and are being lifted up. I pray that you both can feel the love that people have for you. I love you.
I have stayed away from posting in this blog but I just wanted you to know that my wife and I have been praying for you. Weakness is what has kept me away. Lack of knowing what to say. My wife, Catherine, is a loyal reader of the blog and keeps me updated on a daily basis. Just wanted to let Keith know that I love him very much. I'm sorry this has taken so long to do. Keep praying. Keep living.

Stephanie-
You guys do not know me, but I am a fellow Harding Alum (Class of 97) and I wanted to let you know that you are all three on my prayers. I read the blogs and want to cry. God is good and I will continue to pray that He will shelter you in the palm of His hand and give you peace as you go forward. If there is anything my family or I can do please let me know. God Bless You!

Stephanie,
You don't know me, but I have been keeping up with you and Keith via Emily Thompson. I am very touched by your situation. I pray that you find a strength beyond your imagination as you take this road. God bless.
