I know I've been a terrible blogger lately. Though we have been busy, nothing has been truly exciting. Lincoln is continuing to adjust to school. He seems to enjoy interacting with the other kids. He is always sooo worn out on school days. My room at school is pretty much done. I've still got things to do, of course, but at least I can check my room off the list.
I haven't written about Lincoln's newest tricks in a while. His latest achievement is being able to climb up on beds. The boy is a climber for sure!! The other day, he got up on my bed, grabbed the remote for the tv, layed back on the pillows, and began "hunting" for a good channel. I wish I would have thought to take a picture. He was so pleased with himself! His favorite toy right now is a garbage can. This started at Keith's parent's house. They had a small one with handles that was just his size. Mom and dad have a little one too. He loves to carry it or push it around the house. Lincoln absolutely loves being outside! If any of us go outside, he has to come. Anytime he hears the door open, he makes a mad dash for the door. He has learned to say "no." We've been working on please. It sounds more like "chee" when he says it. He still loves the song Old McDonald Had a Farm. For months he has said "ee i ee i." He hasn't quite picked up on the "o" yet. I have been amazed at how much he understands. The other day I told him to bring me his "ee i ee i o" book (it was on the ground along with several toys), and I pointed to it. He grabbed the book, and brought it to me. Last night he was playing with a stuffed animal. Dad asked him if he could put the frog in his trash can. He walked over to the trash can, and threw his frog in. I'm not writing these stories to brag about how smart Lincoln is. I just think it is fascinating how much he understands at just 15 months.

That's the best part about being a mom...being fascinated with your children! You know that there have been children on the Earth before yours, but how could they have been as wonderful?! Enjoy every moment!
Jordan
I agree with Jordan. Who's against bragging about their chldren. I brag on mine all the time. Enjoy.
If you didn't brag on your kids....well then something is really wrong. I still brag on my children ages 53, 52 and 51 years old. I can't beleive how much smarter they are than me and I am almost 76yrs old. Maybe I'm going backwards....ha ha. i love reading your blog!
Love, Grandma Harshaw
