The oncologist's nurse called back tonight, and she said that Dr. Mennel wants Keith to take a break from the chemo pills. He and his secretary are going on vacation for a week. I guess Keith's counts were pretty boarderline. Since they won't be there next week to monitor the counts, they told him not to take the pills for a week. At least this way his body will be as strong as possible for the next round of chemo.
