A Week of Meltdowns
Apparently this is the week of meltdowns. I haven't had another one just yet, but I feel it coming on. I have to send Lincoln back to school tomorrow. I put it off as long as possible by letting him tag along with me as I've been working on my room this week. Tomorrow I have a meeting, so that's not possible.
Though I do enjoy my job, I love being a mom so much more. We have had such a great summer! I have loved spending time with him. I have loved watching him learn and grow. I realize that I can still spend time with him and watch him learn, but it's different during the school year. Instead of spending the bulk of my day with my little one, I spend the day with other people's children. While I'm teaching, other people are playing and reading and singing and interacting with my precious little boy. Though I know he is in good hands, it still makes me sad that those hands aren't mine.

I am with you on this one. This year seems much harder for me to go back than ever before. I am sure Georgia has something to do with that and the fact that this is Hayden's last year before school. Time flies. Love and prayers!

I have read your blog for a long time, but have never commented. If it makes you feel any better (and it may not), I spend all my weekdays hugging, loving, and teaching other people's children because I can't have any of my own. So they get all the love and attention I have to give.
You don't know me but somehow, through friends of friends, I have stumbled upon your blog. I just lifted you up in prayer and will continue to do so. My heart goes out to you. You are an inspiration.
Hi Stephanie,
I've been absentee on your blog this summer as far as commenting! But that doesn't mean I don't think of you and Lincoln often. I'm still praying for you guys and always will. I feel we have a definite "connection" .
I can tell you are an incredible teacher and of course just an absolute wonderful Mom. Lincoln is so blessed to have you.
I pray you will have a fantastic year in the school area but especially in your life in general. I am so thankful you have allowed me to be a part of your journey and I am very proud of you . You are such an inspiration to us all.
God bless you and keep you.
Love,
your friend,
Martha
